3. there seems to be general consensus among scientiests that several ingrained biases undermine our ability to sort out good advice from bad.

4. We tend, for instance, to give the most credence to the last and first pieces of information we've heared and discount what we've learned in between, regardless of the information's veracity or relevance.

5. Some cognitive psychologists also believe that we have a strong inborn tendency to believe the information we have heard the most times and give more weight to information from people we like and minimize information from people we don't.

6. 10-10-10 interferes with such selective information "deafness" your brain may want you to ignore something you heared two weeks ago or a comment delivered by a grumpy old neighbor.

7. 10-10-10 won't let you buy into information you've heard and over again, either, because by definition, it "requires" you to test facts and assumptionis.
